What to Expect at Class
Those with medical conditions should always consult a GP before starting a yoga class.
Classes:
Savasana to calm the mind before the Asanas (postures)
Asanas to relax, stretch and tone the body
Breathing exercises to increase breath awareness and to help focus the mind
Relaxation techniques to allow the body and mind to unwind
Classes may also include meditation or visualisation techniques to focus the mind and help to relieve stress and improve concentration
What to Wear and Bring
A Yoga Mat (I have spare ones so dont worry)
A blanket or warm clothing to keep from getting cold during relaxation
Unrestricted movement is the most important factor when selecting clothes for the class
Comfortable clothes that you can stretch freely in will be fine
